Hello All, My name is Brian Fitzpatrick and I have been handicapping sports full-time for three years now after after working in Credit Derivatives Trading at Morgan Stanley. My background is in Finance and Statistics and I treat Sports Wagering the same way as I do other Investment Markets. While I price every game before shopping the odds, my approach does not stop with merely finding discrepancies between the market and my own numbers. I pay careful attention to line movement, public perception, and momentum as well in my analysis. I have a wealth of sources I cross reference on a daily basis to isolate my top positions and test my stances. I believe that an informed opinion is not complete until you know what the other side of the position is thinking. My daily goal is to isolate the day's top positions. Sometimes you will experience "bad beats" in this game, but the way I see it, when you suffered that bad beat, was there a blowout selection on the day's card that you just couldn't find? I believe that every day there is at least one runaway play, and my aim is to find those types of games whenever possible.
